FOM-MEM

FOM-MEM is a project focused on the development of a globally unique system of distributed point sensors enabling reliable mapping of the locations of mechanical disturbances of the rotational type both in the ground and in engineering structures, together with the training of a team of its manufacturers and the internationalization of the project results. A suitable Fiber-Optic Seismograph (FOS6) rotational type seismograph unit with performance parameters defined by rotational seismology will be used as the basic solution.

Through the use of the Patent Application to the Polish Patent Office (P.450532 dated 11.12.2024), the solution is expected to make it possible to locate the location of the source of the rotational disturbance as well as on the basis of the Patent Application to the Polish Patent Office (P.450531 dated 11.12.2024) its recognition (natural, artificial including detonations, etc.).
