Awareness of the importance of synchronization in IT and OT infrastructure is growing in Poland and Europe. It’s impossible to build a digital economy without expanding the security paradigm and incorporating time into cybersecurity.

The best proof of this is the Polish Space Agency (POLSA) ,,Kopernik Award’’,  awarded to Elproma for its LEVEL3 GNSS Time Guard product.

This device acquires the UTC time standard over the network using the NTP and PTP protocols.

Then, during the GNSS simulation process, it converts the standard into a signal fed to the GNSS antenna input of the NTP/PTP time server.

Worldwide, only Poland, the USA, and Israel have this technology.

Thanks to Polish technology from ELPROMA, the national economy can function stably even with limited GPS availability, or even with the complete absence of all GNSS constellations.

In such cases, time is acquired from the eCzasPL (eTimePL)  system of the Central Office
of Measures (GUM) or directly from 5071A atomic clocks.

    HOW ITS WORKING?

    Features:

👉 GNSS Simulator – simulates a GNSS signal synchronized to the UTC (Polish) timescale from the Central Office of Measures. It provides a time standard for internal networks isolated from the Internet. It is an important component of the #eCzasPL hashtag system for industry and the military.

👉 Provides a GPS (GNSS) standard via an antenna input from an NTP/PTP server (e.g., to the NTS-5000 server) even during GPS disruptions or a complete lack of GNSS satellites.

👉 Remotely audits (reverse) UTC time from an internal network isolated from the Internet. It can monitor the operation of internal NTP/PTP servers.

👉 Ensures reliable IT/OT synchronization during GPS disruptions. The eCzasPL GUM standard is cryptographically authenticated (NTP), and in the future, PTP.

Only Poland, the USA, and Israel have this technology available.

Thanks to Polish technology from ELPROMA, the Polish economy can function stably even with limited GPS signal availability, ensuring IT/OT operability within NATO’s logistics depth. The solution is dedicated to IT/OT critical infrastructures. LEVEL-3 can interface directly with 5071A atomic clocks and HROG-10 microsteppers, obtaining the UTC(k) time scale from them.
